Description of the Certification Authorities
  • PSA Peugeot Citroen Certification Authority root: This authority is the head of the PSA certificate chain. It issues the subordinate Certification Authority certificates.

  • Certification Authority for PSA Peugeot Citroen partner users: It is subordinate to the PSA Peugeot Citroen Certification Authority root. It issues the authentication and signature user certificates for customers and partners.
  • Certification Authority for technical components: It is subordinate to the PSA Peugeot Citroen Certification Authority root. It issues the PSA technical components certificates (Web site, routers, firewall, etc). Thus, when you connect onto the PSA Group sites, your authentication is done with your certificate and you can check the consulted Web site (SSL certificate).
  • Certification Authority for PSA Peugeot Citroen partner technical components: It is subordinate to the PSA Peugeot Citroen Certification Authority root. It issues the authentication and signature certificates for PSA partners technical components.
  • Certification Authority for PSA Peugeot Citroen’s internal users: as a subordinate authority to PSA Peugeot Citroen root authority, it delivers personal encryption certificates to protect user’s sensitive data.
